How far can your Hot Wheels car move? How fast can you make your car travel? In this course, our class will test out cars, jumps, ramps, and crashes while learning science and engineering concepts in an engaging way. Lessons are precorded and viewed via Nearpod at no additional cost.
 
Learners will be assigned an engineering and science challenge to prove that was presented in the lesson. Interactive activities are built in to add some fun. The Teacher will be available to help, comment and provide feedback throughout the class. This course is a multi-part unit with focus on force and motion concepts: energy, aerodynamics, momentum, resistance and mass.  Throughout the class, emphasis is placed on creative problem solving through engaging, exploring, questioning, explaining, elaborating and evaluating science and engineering concepts.
 
Lessons will be accessed via Nearpod (no additional cost). By accessing the link ,  Nearpod provides the lesson, and parents and students can navigate the link on a self-paced mode.   There are no live meetings. Links are good for a limited amount of time but can be renewed free of charge for up to two years of purchase. One learner per purchase please.
